Features of our seal kits
Most common failure is the static o-ring/backup seal on the gland cap.
Our kits use an improved static seal.
Cheap Wear Bands will fail.
Our kits have high strength glass filled nylon wear bands that are superior in every way.
It is rare but not unheard of for a crack to develop to the threaded hole.
After inspecting the bore for damage. Measure the end of the tube where the static gland cap seal rides.
If any damage, cracks or ballooning is found, the cylinder can be salvaged. Please call or email for more information.
